Job summary

DB Global Technology, Deutsche Bank's technology center in Central and Eastern Europe, seeks a talented Backend Engineer to join the uFlow team. You will design, develop, and maintain core modules using Java, Spring Boot, Camunda/Fluxnova, and Oracle DB, delivering robust software in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong Java fundamentals, multithreading and patterns.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Oracle DB and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core backend modules for uFlow.
• Translate business needs into robust technical requirements.
• Estimate tasks and plan delivery.
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tasks.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform peer reviews.
• Stay updated with backend tech trends.
