Job summary

ESPRIMO Srl is seeking a senior Java backend developer with expert Camunda/CIBseven knowledge to join a team delivering Camunda-based services. You will lead architectural evolution, work with product and architectural stakeholders, and drive the migration to CIBseven while coaching peers on DevOps and observability.

You will develop Java 17+ applications in an agile setting, align with enterprise IT standards, and contribute to end-to-end process improvements across the system landscape.

Qualifications

• Expert-level experience with Camunda and/or CIBseven, including BPMN modelling, runtime ops and migrations.
• Senior Java backend developer with hands-on experience in complex enterprise environments using Java 17+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST.
• Experience with observability, monitoring and troubleshooting using Splunk, Grafana and Prometheus.
• Strong focus on end-to-end business processes, embedded team culture and technical sparring with peers.
• Solid understanding of MicroServices and Open API; CI/CD with Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure cloud services, ideally including Azure Service Bus; knowledge of SQL Server.
• Conceptual/architectural mindset and proactive, initiative-driven communication.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team responsible for Camunda-based services in a complex landscape.
• Act as technical lead for Camunda-based card application process system and evolve architecture vision.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Product Managers, Architects and stakeholders to define end-to-end solutions.
• Lead migration from Camunda to CIBseven and advise on related topics.
• Coach team on Camunda/CIBseven topics and share internal know‑how.
• Develop modern Java applications (Java 17+) in an agile team and contribute ideas.
• Support and participate in 3rd level support and DevOps topics.
