Amazon Italy is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineering Manager to drive innovation, standardization and expansion in the AMZL network. You will lead deployment projects including new launches, automated solutions, MHE layouts and retrofit improvements across Italy and possibly other EU locations.

The role requires strong program management, data-driven decision making, and fluency in Italian and English, with a willingness to travel and work with cross-functional teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, commerce, business administration or equivalent.
• Experience leveraging lean principles / Six Sigma to drive process improvements.
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
• Experience in program or project management.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in Italian and English at C1 level or above.

Mansioni

• Manage projects related to deployment of engineering solutions in delivery stations of IT Amazon Logistics (AMZL) network.
• Own projects including greenfield launches, MHE re-layouts, retrofits of automated solutions and building improvements.
• Lead the full project lifecycle from equipment ordering, layout validation, vendor coordination and project plan finalisation to installation works management, vendor commissioning, SAT, and handover.
• Interact with different functions to provide trade off solutions that satisfy conflicts and deliver as per guidelines.
• Validate stakeholder designs and customer requirements and provide feedback to resolve deficiencies and maintain schedules.
• Identify inefficiencies and proactively lead improvements at country/EU level.
