Job summary

Experteer Italy is seeking an engineering leader to own the AI platform foundation end to end, delivering scalable autonomous agents within enterprise systems. You will design orchestration runtimes, state persistence, and audit-ready authorization layers, enabling secure production deployments.

You will collaborate with global SAP/industry experts, work across CI/CD, IaC, observability, and integration adapters to ERP/CRM stores, and drive measurable agent behavior improvements at scale.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production backend systems.
• Expert Python with API/data model design and long-running stateful services.
• Hands-on experience with an agent/workflow orchestration framework (LangGraph, Temporal, LangChain or similar).
• Strong integration background: REST, SOAP, message queues, file-based interfaces.
• Cloud and DevOps depth: containers, IaC (Terraform), CI/CD, secrets handling, observability.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI platform foundation end to end (orchestration runtime, state/persistence, retries, long-running execution).
• Design/build the authorization layer with replayable audit records.
• Develop human-in-the-loop workflows (approval/escalation interfaces).
• Create and maintain integration layer to ERP/CRM/document stores/data platforms via adapters.
• Manage infrastructure, CI/CD, IaC, secrets, networking, observability, and disaster recovery.
• Build test/evaluation harness for measurable agent behavior and regressions.
• Maintain accurate platform inventory (agents, ownership, versions, permissions) and rapid stop mechanisms.
• Collaborate with client IT/security to secure designs and establish engineering standards.
