Camlin Group in Parma, Italy, is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to provide technical leadership across AI and data initiatives, turning ambiguous problems into production-ready solutions. This hands-on role requires collaboration with engineers, data scientists, product and domain experts to drive decisions, reduce uncertainty, and improve the quality and scalability of systems.

Competenze

• Significant experience building real-world AI/ML or data products.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML systems, from data and modelling through to production.
• Experience taking initiatives from an uncertain or early-stage idea to a working solution.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, particularly in Python.
• Experience working with data-intensive or time-series systems.
• Ability to reason about system design, dependencies, scalability, reliability and operational constraints.
• Strong judgement when evaluating technical options and trade-offs.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working effectively with engineers, data scientists, product and domain experts.
• A collaborative approach, with the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively.
