Saipem is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Senior Engineer to lead the design and production deployment of intelligent workflows that automate IT and business processes, integrating AI models, task orchestration, Azure services, APIs and enterprise systems.

You will work with engineering, procurement, operations, IT and business stakeholders to turn high-impact use cases into scalable, governed solutions within a hybrid Milan-based environment.

Competenze

• 5+ years in software development, automation or applied AI.
• Experience delivering production-grade solutions in enterprise contexts.
• Languages: Fluent Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Assess complex processes, identify high-value AI automation opportunities and translate business needs into solution requirements and delivery roadmaps.
• Design and lead the implementation of multi-step and agentic AI workflows integrated with enterprise systems, APIs, data sources and Azure services.
• Guide solutions from prototype to production, coordinating technical and business stakeholders and ensuring architectural documentation and operational handover.
• Establish and monitor quality, performance, security and governance controls, using operational evidence to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance, promote reusable patterns and contribute to the evolution of the enterprise AI platform and delivery standards.
