Job summary

Splendido, A Belmond Hotel in Portofino seeks an Assistant Front Desk Manager for the 2027 season to lead the front desk team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, you will supervise reception operations, handle check-ins, resolve guest issues, and maintain accurate logs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in similar roles (Assistant Front Desk Manager) in luxury 5-star hotels or international chains.
• Fluent Italian and English (written and spoken).
• Excellent knowledge of Front Office operations and hotel PMS systems (Opera/ HMS).
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Front Desk Manager in day-to-day reception operations.
• Supervise reception team to ensure efficient service.
• Greet guests and assist with check-in/out procedures.
