Job summary

Argotec in Italy is seeking a Mechanical AIT Engineer to join the AIT Engineering Unit, focusing on hands-on assembly, integration and testing of small satellite platforms. You will work across the product lifecycle from design support to launch campaigns.

The role requires a diploma or technical degree, 1+ year aerospace experience, and proficiency with 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and MS Office. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Technical Bachelor's degree.
• 1+ years experience in aerospace or similar roles.
• Hands-on, proactive and results-driven.
• Experience with 3D modeling software.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for AIT activities.
• Define and execute mechanical integration sequences for satellite systems.
• Support harness design and feasibility assessment.
• Develop MAIPs and test plans for structural, thermal, and environmental testing.
• Write integration and test procedures.
• Execute and support Environmental Test campaigns.
• Prepare and support launch campaigns.
• Collaborate with Structural and Thermal Design Engineers to optimize integration strategies.
• Support AIT planning for New Product Introduction (NPI).
