Argotec is seeking an Electronics Assembly Integration and Testing (AIT) Engineer to join the AIT Unit in Italy. You will design, assemble, and test electrical harnesses for satellites and related components, ensuring quality and compliance with safety and space industry standards.

The role requires a degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, 3+ years in a similar role, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with harness design and testing processes.
• Experience with soldering through-hole and SMD parts.
• Familiarity with lab instruments (multimeter, power supply).
• Proficiency with CAD tools for electronics design (Altium) and mechanical design (SolidWorks).
• Knowledge of ECSS and IPC standards.

Responsabilités

• Design, document, assemble, and test electrical harnesses for flight and test projects.
• Create schematics, layouts, and pin-to-pin lists for harnesses.
• Select connectors, wires, and parts based on electrical/mechanical specs.
• Draft technical documentation, assembly and test procedures.
• Test and validate cables/harnesses, including clean room work.
• Interface with stakeholders for harness definition and manufacturing.
• Support QA/PA processes and non-conformances management.
• Harpoon harness routing per satellite mechanical design; assist broader AIT activities.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
