Job summary

Argotec S.r.l. in Italy seeks a Product Development Engineer to drive design from concept to production for avionics systems and satellite platforms. You will work with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Sales to deliver space-grade solutions with rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or high-tech manufacturing sectors.
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of new products from concept to production.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Testing teams to ensure feasibility and performance.
• Maintain and update CAD models, drawings, specifications, and test reports.
• Support prototype development and validation through testing and analysis.
• Drive design reviews and risk assessments for reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Interface with suppliers and external partners to evaluate components and processes.
• Ensure product compliance with ECSS and ISO standards and participate in certification activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing product performance and implementing enhancements.
