Leonardo is seeking a Propellers and Rotor Analyst for its Helicopters Division in Cascina Costa, Italy. The role combines analytical rotor component analysis with hands-on testing, spanning static strength to fatigue and damage tolerance, in a collaborative environment with multiple departments.

The candidate will develop FE models using HyperWorks or Abaqus, prepare test plans, and compile test reports. A degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering plus English proficiency are required.

Competenze

• Graduation in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in similar roles is desirable.
• Knowledge of FE Analysis, preferably with HyperWorks or Abaqus.
• Good written and spoken English; ability to work in a team.

Mansioni

• Perform FE model simulations of metallic and composite rotor components (hubs, flight controls, blades, tension links).
• Carry out static, fatigue, and damage-tolerance analyses.
• Prepare test plans for rotor parts and support test rig architecture and requirements.
• Write final test reports and provide technical support during testing.
• Interface with Fatigue Department, Aircraft System Integration, Airworthiness, Production, and external authorities.
