ABB Robotics Italy seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design, modify, and analyze equipment, systems, or installations, including manufacturing and construction specifications.

You will apply design thinking and work in a hybrid model, collaborating with Proposal & Sales Support, Project Management, Electrical Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and machine design, preferably in robotic cells, automation systems or special-purpose machinery.
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and PLM/PDM tools.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

• Performing project peer-reviews, using checklists to verify design per standards and guidelines.
• Creating standard processes and tools to promote reuse of technical solutions.
• Developing work plans and cost estimates for the project portfolio.
