ABB, a global leader in robotics, seeks a Senior Project Manager to steer medium-sized automation projects within the Robotics unit. You will lead the project team, manage scope, schedule and cost, and ensure compliance with ABB standards and customer expectations.

The role requires 3–5 years in automation project management, English proficiency (B2), and willingness to travel about 60% of the time. Hybrid work model and international collaboration are offered within ABB Robotics.

This Position reports to:

Senior Project Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result.

This role is contributing to the Global ABB Robotics business.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close‑out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in Engineering in Automation/Computer science or related field
• You are working with time and economics managementand the Robotic Automation market
• You have 3-5 years of experience in automation project management
• You are passionate about production management, customer strict relationships, stakeholder management, planning, and working autonomously.
• You are at ease communicating in English (B2 level)
• You hold current driving car license valid in Europe
• You feel comfortable travelling around 60% of the time

Compensation Package

As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position:

Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico

Minimum annual salary: €39.000

Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
