InPost Italy, based in Turin, is seeking a motivated Logistics Manager to lead depots and courier partners, and to optimize all logistics processes. You will work closely with Logistics, Warehouse, tech, and Customer Care teams to ensure efficient flows and service quality.

The role requires 4+ years in logistics management, experience in e-commerce or parcel logistics, and strong analytical and budgeting skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 4+ years’ experience in logistics management or similar roles.
• Experience in e-commerce and/or parcel logistics is preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
• Strong organizational, operations and project management experience.
• Excellent knowledge of logistics and transport sectors.

Overview

It’s an awesome opportunity for a motivated and skilled Logistics Manager.

You will work closely with Logistics, Warehouse, tech, and Customer care’departments, managing and coordinating depots and courier partners and optimizing all the logistics processes and flows.

Based in Turin, with regular business travel across Piedmont, Liguria, and Tuscany.

Activities and responsibilities

• You will have a key role to select the best couriers supplier and shipping techniques
• You will coordinate the Itinerary planning, the invoice processing and the suppliers
• You will analyze and be responsible of the performance of each logistics partner in your area, also making sure that all the couriers and depot staff are fully trained
• You will support the sales team, regarding customer proposals and rate negotiations
• You will manage network volumes and optimize all the logistics processes
• You will plan and monitor inbound and outbound shipments
• You will implement and update the metrics, in a spirit of continuous improvement
• You will draft and evaluate the budgets&expenses, be focused on cost optimization
• Frequent business travel are requested

Skills and requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• 4+ years’ experience in the role of “Logistic Manager” or similar
• Experience in E-commerce and/or parcel logistics
• Proven track record of success exceeding goals
• Organizational and operations and/or project management experience
• Excellent knowledge of the "logistics and transport" sector
• People and partner management skills
• Experience managing and building relationships with 3rd parties
• High level of analytical skills and knowledgeiple>
• Logistics processes, reporting, and analytics experience
• Experience coming up with creative solutions and problem solving
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel)
