InPost Italy is seeking a Junior Controller to join our Finance team in Milan. You will support monthly reporting, analyze cost allocations, and help prepare management presentations, budgets and forecasts with SAP data.

Ideal candidates have basic knowledge of analytical accounting, good Excel skills, and an eye for detail. English at intermediate level and a proactive attitude are important for success in our international environment.

Your role

As a Junior Controller, you will support key financial processes and contribute to ensuring accuracy and reliability in reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting (Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet) and manage data required by the Group
• Support the Controlling team in analyzing and ensuring the correct allocation of costs and revenues, as well as preparing data for statutory reporting
• Contribute to the preparation of monthly management presentations
• Support budget and forecasting activities, including data validation and uploads to the Group reporting platform (planning & actuals)
• Prepare and manage data for accruals, including uploads and maintenance in SAP
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the Finance & Administration team on ad hoc activities (e.g. rentals, insurance, purchase orders)

What we’re looking for:

• Basic knowledge of management/analytical accounting
• Good knowledge of Excel (or strong willingness to learn and develop it quickly)
• Basic knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Intermediate level of English
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Accuracy in managing financial data, especially during month-end closing
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive attitude in identifying and highlighting financial data issues
