Galileo looks for an M&A and Project Finance Associate/Manager to lead investments and financing across renewables, based in Milan with hybrid remote options. You will evaluate opportunities, build financial models and manage lender engagement.

The role reports to the Head of Project Finance and involves structuring transactions, coordinating due diligence, and supporting strategic market entry across Europe.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Management Engineering.
• 3–6 years in investment banking/M&A, infrastructure funds, PE, project finance advisory, lending institutions, or corporate M&A/project finance.
• Strong modelling skills and knowledge of transaction docs (SPAs, facility agreements, security packages).
• Excellent Italian and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support structuring, negotiation and execution of project finance transactions and debt raises.
• Own and review financial models for project finance, M&A and valuation.
• Lead or co‑lead buy‑side/sell‑side transactions from origination to closing with internal and external teams.
• Develop new geographies and business models (solar I&C, BESS, floating offshore).
• Prepare investment memoranda for Investment Committee and senior management.
• Coordinate due diligence and post‑closing handover to asset management.
