Job summary

Galileo is a fast-growing renewable energy IPP, investor and operator based in Milan, seeking an M&A and Project Finance Analyst to evaluate and execute investment opportunities across solar PV, wind and storage.

You will work across the M&A and Project Finance teams, building financial models and supporting transaction structuring while reporting to the Head of Project Finance, in a hybrid startup environment across Europe.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Management Engineering (STEM acceptable with economics/finance background).
• Up to 2 years experience in consulting, private equity, infrastructure funds, investment banking/M&A, or corporate M&A/project finance, energy/renewables focus.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical and quantitative skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English; another European language is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute sell-side, buy-side, and partnership transactions from inception to close.
• Build and maintain integrated financial models for M&A and project finance.
• Analyze entry into new geographic markets and new business models (solar I&C, BESS, floating offshore).
• Assess project economics and investment returns to support development and operations decisions.
• Support structuring, negotiation and execution of project finance transactions and debt raises.
