Rain is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer in EMEA. This remote role anchors the technical direction for our backend platform, including API integrations with 3rd-party vendors and the core systems across banking, payroll, and timekeeping domains.

You will help shape the architecture, raise the engineering bar, and lead efforts to build robust fintech products from the ground up, collaborating with global product and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Strong backend engineering track record in fintech or similar domains.
• Experience designing large-scale distributed systems and APIs.
• Proven ability to own ambiguous initiatives end-to-end.

• Set technical direction and architecture for backend areas.
• Design and implement reliable microservices and APIs.
