Rain is seeking a Tech Lead to join our engineering team. This position is remote and leads a multidisciplinary squad of backend, frontend, and QA engineers, owning the foundational systems for transactions, balances, and financial movement across our platform.

You will shape architectural direction for our financial health product offering, design novel systems, and guide integrations with banking partners while maintaining precision across ledgers and reconciliation processes.

Competenze

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience designing distributed systems and capacity planning.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Familiar with large-scale distributed systems and responsibilites.

• Translate product requirements into robust technical solutions and lead engineering efforts to meet ambitious targets.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team and manage the team’s refinements and productivity.
• Design and implement reliable systems within a distributed micro-services architecture.
• Build and maintain integrations with 3rd-party vendors and partners.
• Design and implement highly available RESTful APIs for internal admin portals.
• Create reusable code and libraries for shared use across teams.
• Enforce observability with logging, metrics, and alerting systems.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for solutions and APIs.
• Continuously monitor Rain systems for performance and scalability.
• Coordinate cross-team collaboration to align priorities and requirements.
