Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Product Manager, Payments Infrastructure based in Italy. You will shape core systems enabling secure, scalable money movement across markets and currencies.

You will own the technical roadmap for payment processing, settlement, ledger systems, virtual accounts, and banking integrations. Working with Engineering, Treasury, and Compliance, you will ensure transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time, optimizing routing,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Management with 3+ years in payments infrastructure or core banking/transaction platforms.
• Strong technical fluency for architecture discussions involving APIs and distributed systems.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, CS, PM, or related field.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience collaborating across markets, disciplines, and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap for core payment infrastructure, including rails, ledger systems, settlement engines, and virtual accounts.
• Lead development of virtual accounts and Virtual IBAN infrastructures.
• Prioritize integrations with banking partners, liquidity providers, and stablecoin networks.
• Define payment routing and currency conversion strategies across networks (e.g., USDC, USDT, PYUSD).
• Collaborate with Engineering on APIs, distributed systems, data consistency, and reconciliation.
• Work with Treasury on liquidity requirements and funding models.
• Partner with Compliance to embed regulatory requirements into infrastructure.
• Monitor performance metrics: success rates, settlement times, uptime, reconciliation accuracy.
