Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Security Compliance Engineer based in Italy to strengthen security, privacy, and regulatory compliance across a global payments technology stack.

You will translate industry standards into technical controls, work with Security, Engineering, and DevOps to secure AWS/GCP environments, and develop Python tools to automate security tasks while supporting audits. Remote-friendly role in a highly regulated industry.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting ISO audits and translating compliance requirements into technical implementations.
• Background in fintech/payments or highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and PCI DSS implementations in engineering environments.
• Understanding of data protection and privacy requirements across cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to security audits and certification processes (ISO 27001/27701/42001, SOC 2, PCI DSS).
• Translate compliance needs into scalable, auditable technical controls.
• Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps to implement cloud security controls (AWS/GCP).
• Develop Python-based security tools to automate processes and improve security posture.
• Support cloud security measures including WAFs, threat detection, and security monitoring.
• Ensure configurations and evidence meet audit requirements and standards.
