Jobgether is seeking a Payment Operations Analyst in Italy to strengthen payment performance across a large-scale international marketplace. You will work in a newly formed team focused on end-to-end visibility of the checkout and payment funnel, coordinating with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Fraud to drive improvements in authorization rates and conversion.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with payment funnels in a multi-provider environment.
• Strong understanding of payment concepts: interchange, decline codes, FX, tokenization, 3D Secure, fraud fundamentals.
• Experience conducting root-cause analysis of payment funnel drop-offs and declines.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to investigate payment data and identify trends.
• Ability to interpret complex technical findings and communicate to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with self-service BI or dashboarding tools is an advantage.
• Experience comparing payment service providers.
• Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-changing environments without established processes.
• Proactive, independent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Good English communication; professional fluency preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Identify emerging issues in checkout funnel health and surface defects.
• Lead root-cause investigations into funnel drop-offs and declines.
• Analyze authorization rates, declines, and performance across PSPs.
• Investigate payment performance issues, including outages across checkout stages.
• Develop dashboards and alerts for payment funnel visibility.
• Prepare regular reporting for cross-functional teams with clear recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Fraud to improve authorization rates and conversions.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders without payments expertise.
• Help establish diagnostic processes and become a point of contact for funnel health.
