Job summary

Veeam Software, Inc. is seeking a Customer Success Engineer in Italy with a strong technical foundation in data backup and recovery and advanced English.

You will own onboarding, adoption, and resilience reporting, driving long-term outcomes for Enterprise and Commercial-Named accounts, with ARR targets. You’ll collaborate with CISO/CIO stakeholders, shape adoption roadmaps, and coordinate with Sales and CS leadership to influence pricing and renewal terms, delivering measurable value through

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer-facing engineering roles focused on data backup and recovery (mid-level role).
• Advanced level of English.
• Hands-on expertise across OS, virtualization, storage, scripting/automation, cloud platforms, and DR&R best practices.
• Strong experience designing and executing protection plans, migrations, and recovery simulations; familiarity with Veeam platform capabilities is a plus.
• Proven ability to translate business outcomes into technical adoption roadmaps and measurable value.
• Executive stakeholder engagement skills (CISO/CIO) with ability to synthesize technical, business, and risk signals into clear recommendations.
• Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure customer accounts; customize backup policies and storage; facilitate onboarding.
• Identify migration opportunities; analyze usage; align product adoption with business outcomes.
• Conduct assessments; build protection plans; recommend architectures across the Veeam Data Platform.
• Run recovery simulations; track resilience posture with DRMM; deliver quarterly reports.
• Monitor churn signals; define mitigation plans; partner on renewal strategy with technical insights.
• Build business cases; define TCO; articulate value for expansion with stakeholders.
• Engage CISO/CIO with clear risk and roadmap updates.
• Collaborate on marketing campaigns to drive adoption and growth.
• Own ARR-focused account assignments across 5–50 named accounts with $100K+ ARR.
• Own technical success plan and adoption roadmap; influence pricing and renewal terms with Sales.
