Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company in Italy, seeks a Finance & Accounting Expert for a remote contractor role. You will design complex, multi-step benchmark tasks across FP&A, financial reporting, auditing, and reconciliations, with clear instructions and scoring rubrics for objective evaluation.

You will source materials, ensure clarity and gradability, and deliver high-quality work within a 12-month engagement, with approx. 15 hours per week and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on FP&A, financial reporting, auditing, reconciliations, or related field.
• Experience developing or applying structured review standards and rubrics.
• Strong Excel skills with ability to analyze across multiple documents.
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and objective criteria.
• Strong written English; produce precise instructions and documentation.
• CPA/CA/ACCA/CMA or equivalent is an advantage but not required.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and deliver remotely.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-step finance tasks for FP&A, reporting, audit, and reconciliations.
• Develop clear task instructions and grading rubrics for consistent evaluation.
• Create scenarios requiring professional judgment and sound financial reasoning.
• Prepare or source supporting materials including spreadsheets and ledgers.
• Review tasks for clarity and gradability, flag ambiguous items.
• Deliver tasks on schedule while maintaining quality and consistency.
