Jobgether is seeking an HR & People Operations Expert based in Italy for a remote, independent contract role. You will design practical HR tasks, focusing on payroll operations, workforce planning, policies, and employee lifecycles, with clear instructions and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least five years of hands-on payroll, workforce planning, HR policy implementation, or employee lifecycle operations.
• Experience designing structured HR procedures, checklists, or training assessments.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to apply consistent judgment across documents.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and HR reference materials.
• Fluent English (minimum B2); C1 preferred.
• HR certification (SHRM/CIPD/PHR) is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently with reliable delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-step HR tasks covering payroll ops, workforce planning, policy interpretation, and lifecycle processes.
• Create objective evaluation criteria and scoring rubrics for submissions.
• Assess professional judgment using HR knowledge rather than recall.
• Prepare supporting documentation including policies, payroll reports, and headcount data.
• Ensure tasks are clear, well-defined, and easy to evaluate.
• Meet project deadlines and deliver assignments on time.
