Hitachi Rail in Naples, Italy, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to plan, monitor and coordinate engineering activities across the full lifecycle of complex rail projects. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, manage requirements, verifications, and validations, prepare technical proposals and documentation, and act as the primary interface with customers.

• Experience 3–5 years in the Railway sector or complex industrial environments.
• Good knowledge of main railway regulations and standards.
• Good knowledge of IBM DOORS requirements management tool.

Mansioni

• Plan, monitor and coordinate engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from bid phase to final delivery.
• Coordinate project teams across engineering disciplines to ensure compliance with input requirements, regulation, standards, budget, schedule and quality targets.
• Prepare project documentation (during bid and execution) including technical proposals, engineering plans and design review reports.
• Act as the primary technical interface with the customer, ensuring collection and delivery of project documentation.
• Manage and conduct design reviews for the bid/project, under supervision of the line manager.
• Monitor and report project progress, technical risks and opportunities, escalating when necessary.
• Liaise with departments to ensure successful delivery of the bid/project.
• Define certification and validation strategies and coordinate related testing activities.
