Hitachi Rail is seeking a System Engineer to join the Rolling Stock Engineering team in Pistoia or Napoli. The role requires 3–5 years in railway or complex industrial environments, strong RAMS and requirements management knowledge, and experience with tools like IBM DOORS, AutoCAD, Creo, or Catia.

Master’s degree in engineering and English proficiency are required. The position reports to the Engineering Managers and Project Engineers, with travel for national/international trips as needed.

Competenze

• Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics preferred) or equivalent.
• Experience in railway or complex industrial environments is required.
• Knowledge of RAMS principles and processes is expected.
• Proficient with electrical, mechanical design tools and office software.
• Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment.

Mansioni

• Prepare System Requirements Specifications (SyRS).
• Define and manage system interfaces throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze and assess technical documentation from Suppliers.
• Prepare and verify system installation/integration drawings/specifications.
• Conduct design reviews with internal teams and suppliers.
• Prepare Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) and Functional Test Specifications (FTS).
• Support onboard integration, performance testing and validation.
• Ensure compliance with railway regulations and project constraints.
