Hitachi Rail S.p.A. in Naples, Italy, is seeking a Junior Project Engineer to support the engineering team across bid and delivery phases.

The role covers requirements management, system verification and validation, and cross‑functional coordination with procurement, manufacturing and QA. You will prepare technical documentation, support certification strategies, and liaise with customers to ensure timely delivery while developing your skills in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or equivalent) preferred.
• Knowledge of English written and spoken (B2) is required.
• 1–2 years experience in railway sector or complex industrial environments is desirable.
• Familiarity with RAMS and engineering processes is a plus.

Mansioni

• Plan, monitor and coordinate engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate project teams across engineering disciplines to ensure compliance with requirements and budgets.
• Prepare technical proposals, engineering plans, and design review reports.
• Manage product data sheets during bid phase and support quotation activities.
• Maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix and verify compliance with customer changes.
• Lead design reviews with internal teams and customers and report progress and risks.
