Hitachi Rail S.p.A. in Naples (Napoli) or Pistoia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the rolling stock engineering team. You will prepare SyRS, analyze supplier documents, and drive electrical schematics and BOM development for compliant railway systems.

The role requires 3–5 years in rail or similar industrial environments, knowledge of railway standards, DOORS, electrical CAD, and electromagnetic/thermal analysis, with English at least B2. Occasional travel may be required.

Competenze

3-5 years experience in railway sector or complex industrial environments.
Knowledge of main railway regulations and standards.
Experience with IBM DOORS requirements management tool.
Knowledge of traction systems and power converters.
Familiarity with RAMS concepts and processes.
Experience with electrical CAD tools (E3 preferred).
Knowledge of electrical schematics design and machine design principles.
Experience with electromagnetic and thermal analysis.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to liaise with suppliers and customers in an international setting.

Mansioni

Prepare System Requirements Specifications (SyRS) for electrical components.
Analyze and assess technical documentation from Suppliers.
Prepare and verify electrical system installation/integration drawings and BOMs.
Perform simulations to optimize electrical systems performance and energy efficiency.
Conduct design reviews with internal teams and suppliers.
Support manufacturing, testing and validation phases.
Ensure compliance with railway regulations and project constraints.
Produce documentation for vehicle approval and homologation.
