Azienda Anonima, a multinational food company in Tuscany, seeks an R&D Manager to build a dedicated R&D capability for pesto, tomato-based sauces, and vegetable products. You will lead innovation, translate consumer insights into new formulations, and drive end-to-end development with internal and external partners.

The role requires hands-on experience in product development, scale-up, and strong knowledge of packaging, regulatory and cost considerations.

Competenze

• 7–10 years in R&D, New Product Development in the Food industry.
• Direct hands-on experience in pesto, tomato-based sauces, sauces, condiments, veg. preserves is highly relevant.
• Experience with co-packers and external manufacturers.
• Knowledge of packaging, labeling and regulatory requirements; food safety and shelf life.

Mansioni

• Lead R&D and innovation across pesto, tomato-based sauces, sauces and vegetables preserves.
• Drive new product development from concept to industrialisation.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Quality, Operations and external partners.
• Ensure feasibility, cost sustainability and regulatory compliance across products.
• Develop internal know-how and cross-functional reference for lifecycle stages.
