Job summary
Abac Aria Compressa Product Company, part of the Atlas Copco Group, is seeking a Design Engineer in Robassomero, Italy, to drive development of next‑generation piston compressor machines. You will advance concepts from idea to prototype and support industrialization, reporting to the R&D Engineering Team Leader while collaborating with the Project Leader and Test Engineer.
The role requires a degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, 3–5 years of design experience, strong CAD and BOM
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Experience in design and process manufacturing in an industrial setting preferred.
- Strong CAD skills and BOM management capability.
Responsibilities
- Support development from component design to full machine validation.
- Create technical drawings, perform calculations, and conduct testing.
- Collaborate with project team to bring innovative technologies to production.
- Maximize customer value while minimizing waste.
- Coordinate with R&D Team Leader, Project Leader, and Test Engineer for project execution.
