Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Design Engineer to support the development of rotary/centrifugal compressors and related mechanical systems for oil & gas projects. You will collaborate with external engineering teams and coordinate design reviews to ensure robust, standards-compliant solutions.

The role requires strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, NX), knowledge of API/ASME/ISO standards, and English proficiency. On-site work in Gorle area with global energy projects is expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of CAD experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of rotary/centrifugal compressor mechanics and thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with oil & gas equipment standards and operational environments.
• Experience with offshore applications (NORSOK) is a plus.
• Experience with simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL) is a plus.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and engineering specifications.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design of auxiliary systems, baseplate, mechanical/electrical components, tank, vessel etc to meet the project requirements
• Ensure proper selection of material based on environmental / process conditions and project requirements
• Ability to select instrumentation and electrical components is considered a plus
• Perform Risk Assessment and Design Validation
• Ability to manage Root Cause Analysis
• Support Cost Optimization and Value Engineering while designing parts and skid
• Support customer meetings relating to 3D model reviews (30%, 60%, 90%), HFE meetings, review meetings, design review meetings
• Maintain version control and ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO standards

Job Summary

We are looking for a technically proficient and detail-driven Design Engineer to support the design and development of rotary / centrifugal compressors and related mechanical systems within the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, CAD modeling, and industrial standards relevant to oil & gas applications and will coordinate activities alongside external engineering company as well.

Responsibilities

• Design of auxiliary systems, baseplate, mechanical/electrical components, tank, vessel etc to meet the project requirements
• Ensure proper selection of Material Selection based on environmental / process conditions and project requirements
• Ability to select instrumentation and electrical component is considered a plus
• Perform Risk Assessment and Design Validation
• Ability to manage Root Cause Analysis
• Support the Cost Optimization and Value Engineering while designing parts and skid
• Support specific Customer meeting relating to the 3D model review (30%, 60%, 90%), HFE meetings , review meetings, design review meetings

• Experience with simulation tools (, ANSYS, COMSOL) is a plus
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and engineering specifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
