Job summary

Atlas Copco BLM in Paderno Dugnano (MI), Italy, invites a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join the R&D Mechanical Engineering team. You will develop and improve mechanical and mechatronic products, work with experienced engineers and progressively build your technical knowledge and autonomy.

You will contribute to concept studies, create and modify 3D CAD models and drawings, apply engineering principles, integrate mechanics with electronics, and collaborate across functions to design robust

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Naval Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience or closely related field.
• Solid foundation in mechanics, materials, manufacturing processes, tolerancing and basic stress analysis.
• Knowledge of parametric 3D CAD is important; Creo is advantageous; familiarity with PLM/PDM, FEM/FEA, Windchill or SAP is a plus.
• English is important for international collaboration; fluency in Italian is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies and 2D drawings.
• Apply mechanical engineering principles to real product-development challenges.
• Contribute to integration between mechanics and electronics.
• Participate in prototype building, design reviews and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the product-development process.
