Siemens Energy in Italy is seeking a Proposal Specialist to support preparation and coordination of service proposals and customer orders. You will collaborate across sales, project management, finance, and procurement to ensure accurate offers and orderly billing.

The role requires a Master’s in economics, business or engineering, strong SAP experience, Excel proficiency, and fluency in Italian and English. A hybrid work model and global collaboration opportunities are offered.

Join our dynamic Sales Application & Offer Management team in Italy as a Proposal Specialist! In this pivotal role, you will support the preparation and coordination of service proposals and customer orders, ensuring seamless collaboration across various teams including sales, project management, finance, and procurement. You will engage in offer and order management activities while providing strong commercial project support, which includes documentation control, KPI tracking, and billing-cycle coordination. How You’ll Make An Impact

• Manage customer requests for quotations from receipt through to submission, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Prepare and coordinate commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documentation in alignment with customer needs and internal governance.
• Collect and consolidate cost inputs, support pricing activities, and ensure the accuracy of offer calculations and assumptions.
• Oversee customer orders from receipt to execution handover, ensuring smooth processing and confirmation.
• Maintain accurate records in company systems, including SAP and Salesforce, while supporting financial administration activities such as billing and accounts coordination.

What You Bring

• A Master’s degree in economics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• Solid experience in commercial, order management, or project management roles, with a strong understanding of customer service and sales support.
• Proven proficiency with SAP and reporting tools; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and a good command of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
• A customer-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Italian and English language is required for the position.

The total compensation package for this position, including both fixed and variable components, ranges between € 33.000 – € 49.000 gross per year.

Salary ranges for this role are provided in accordance with applicable local legislation. The stated range is based on the Italian labour market.

Where a role may be performed in multiple locations in Italy or abroad, compensation will vary depending on factors such as market conditions, including the local cost of living, as well as experience and qualifications.
