Siemens Energy in Trento is seeking a Testing Bay Leader for the Medium Power Transformer Test Field. You will plan, develop, and direct transformer testing to meet project goals and regulatory standards, while providing resources and growing your team’s expertise.

Lead test dept operations, coordinate testing, manage equipment certification and maintenance, and drive safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Academic background in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in testing high-voltage electrical equipment, especially power transformers.
• Proven product testing experience in heavy electrical manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and dedication to customer satisfaction and deadlines.
• Proficient in written and spoken English; business-level Italian; other languages a plus.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Lead and coordinate the test department’s operations, planning and implementing power transformer tests to meet company goals and regulations.

Manage logistics for testing, including equipment certification, maintenance, upgrades, and procurement of new tools.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, delivering timely and accurate transformer tests.

Analyze test issues, conduct investigations, collaborate with engineering, and report findings to management.

Drive continuous improvement and digitalization of the Test Field, proactively managing investment plans and maintenance.

What You Bring

• Academic background in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Significant professional experience (8+ years) in testing high-voltage electrical equipment, especially power transformers.
• You possess proven expertise in product testing within heavy electrical manufacturing environments, including circuit breakers, bushings, and electric power testing equipment.
• You demonstrate strong leadership skills, a collaborative approach, and a relentless dedication to customer satisfaction and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in written and spoken English; knowledge of Italian at a business level is required, and additional language skills are a plus.

The total compensation package for this position, including both fixed and variable components, ranges between € 50.000 – € 68.000 gross per year.

Salary ranges for this role are provided in accordance with applicable local legislation. The stated range is based on the Italian labour market.

Where a role may be performed in multiple locations in Italy or abroad, compensation will vary depending on factors such as market conditions, including the local cost of living, as well as experience and qualifications.
