Sirio Solutions Engineering SpA (SSE SpA) in Italy is seeking a Proposal Engineer to drive the technical and commercial development of proposals for control systems and integrated engineered solutions tailored to Oil & Gas and Power Generation markets.

You will collaborate with the Commercial structure, Operations, Engineering and Procurement to deliver timely, winning proposals that meet international market requirements.

Competenze

• High School Diploma in Electronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering or Bachelor/Master in the same disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation and/or rotating machinery and associated control systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Availability for international travel on short- and medium-term assignments.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical-commercial or proposal engineering role.

Mansioni

• Support the development of business opportunities by managing the full proposal lifecycle from customer engagement to contract award.
• Carry out detailed technical and commercial analysis of RFQs from customers.
• Gather commercial scope and information to address bid strategy.
• Proactively suggest alternatives to reduce cost and increase value for the customer.
• Prepare the technical and commercial proposal and comment on customer terms and conditions.
• Interact with procurement to gather materials, schedules, and pricing for the bid.
• Follow up negotiations from offer to PO verification with the sales team.
• Support project management during planning by sharing project details collected.
• Coordinate with regional sales abroad to align proposal processes Group-wide.
• Populate internal databases and maintain management systems (CRM, SAP, etc.).
• Prepare internal reports and schedule approvals with Top Management.
