CargoBeamer is seeking a Project Manager to lead on-site railway infrastructure initiatives in Italy, delivering key milestones within a 2-year fixed-term role.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and execution plans, coordinating with clients, authorities, and suppliers while ensuring safety, quality, and contractual compliance. Proficiency in Italian and English is required, with German a plus.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with iTWO and SAP is an advantage.
• Fluent in Italian with professional proficiency in English (minimum B2); German language skills are an advantage.

Mansioni

• Lead day-to-day execution of railway infrastructure projects on site in Italy.
• Develop, coordinate, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, planners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, scope, schedule, and deliverables.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, contractual, and technical requirements.
• Monitor and control project performance, including budget, schedule, resources, risks, and scope, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Identify, assess, and resolve project issues and risks, driving practical solutions to maintain project progress.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project reporting, providing regular updates on progress, risks, costs, and key milestones to management.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders while representing the company in a professional manner.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements to support project profitability and operational excellence.
• Implement BIM methodologies to enhance project coordination, collaboration, and visualization.
• Maintaining strong relationships with local authorities and municipalities; assist with land clarifications and permit procedures; assist in technical Site DD for upcoming CargoBeamer locations.

Your responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day execution of railway infrastructure projects in Italy, acting as the primary project manager and company representative on site.
• Develop, coordinate, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, planners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, scope, schedule, and deliverables.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, contractual, and technical requirements.
• Monitor and control project performance, including budget, schedule, resources, risks, and scope, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Identify, assess, and resolve project issues and risks, driving practical solutions to maintain project progress.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project reporting, providing regular updates on progress, risks, costs, and key milestones to management.

• Assistance with land-related clarifications with local authorities and RFI.
• Assistance with building permit procedure
• Assistance in technical Site DD for upcoming Italian CargoBeamer locations
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project; experience with iTWO and SAP is an advantage.
• Fluent in Italian with professional proficiency in English (minimum B2 level); German language skills are an advantage.
