Alstom in Rome, Bari, Bologna or Florence sites is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead the technical scope of complex transport projects. You will ensure delivery according to quality, cost, performance and schedule commitments, updating as needed through variations.

The role requires strong leadership, experience managing technical projects and excellent stakeholder management, including clear English communication. Join a global engineering team and shape greener mobility.

Your Role:

As a Project Engineering Manager you will manage the technical contractual scope of the project ensuring its delivery according to the quality, cost, performance and scheduled commitment originally agreed and, if applicable, updated as a result of negotiated variation orders.

• Manage the technical contractual scope of the project
• Manage the project technical risks and the corresponding mitigation plan
• Validate the technical design choices with the peers and Solution Director
• Deploy the applicable engineering process, methods & tools on the project
• Manage the project solutionto meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance (QCDP) commitments
• Be responsible of the project design and application engineering activities
• Supervise Verification & Validation activities

Qualifications:

• Engineering background including project deployment full lifecycle view
• Relevant experience in managingtechnical projects
• Hands-on experience on functional or hierarchical team management
• Cost and planning control experience in engineering scope
• Hands-on experience on Customer relationship in contractual situations
• Strong leadership skills
• Fluent written and spoken English
