CargoBeamer is seeking a Project Manager to lead day-to-day railway infrastructure projects in Italy, acting as the on-site company representative. The role involves developing schedules, budgets, and execution plans to ensure successful delivery, while coordinating with contractors, suppliers, planners, and authorities for alignment on scope and milestones.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, is fluent in Italian with English at B2 level, and has experience with MS Project

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially MS Project; iTWO and SAP are advantageous.
• Fluent Italian with professional English (B2); German is a plus.

Your mission that drives sustainability in logistics

• Lead the day-to-day execution of railway infrastructure projects in Italy, acting as the primary project manager and company representative on site.
• Develop, coordinate, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, planners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, scope, schedule, and deliverables.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, contractual, and technical requirements.
• Monitor and control project performance, including budget, schedule, resources, risks, and scope, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Identify, assess, and resolve project issues and risks, driving practical solutions to maintain project progress.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project reporting, providing regular updates on progress, risks, costs, and key milestones to management.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders while representing the company in a professional manner.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements to support project profitability and operational excellence.
• Implement and utilize Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodologies to enhance project coordination, collaboration, and visualization.
• Maintaining strong and positive relationships with the relevant local authorities and municipalities
• Assistance with land-related clarifications with local authorities and RFI.
• Assistance with building permit procedure

Your Background & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project; experience with iTWO and SAP is an advantage.
• Fluent in Italian with professional proficiency in English (minimum B2 level); German language skills are an advantage.
