EDAG Italia seeks a Project Leader to drive Exteriors & Trim development for commercial vehicles. You will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams from concept through industrialization, coordinating cross-functional activities with design, CAE, testing, manufacturing and quality.

The role requires a degree in mechanical/automotive/industrial engineering, at least three years in automotive exterior/trim, strong leadership, CAD/PLM experience, and fluent Italian and English; German is a plus.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Mansioni

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams involved in vehicle development.
• Manage automotive and commercial vehicle projects from concept through industrialization, ensuring the successful development of exterior and trim products.
• Define project plans, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, risks, costs, quality, and timing, ensuring delivery according to customer and project requirements.
• Collaborate with Design, CAE, Testing, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and other engineering functions to ensure cross-functional integration.
• Act as the primary technical interface with OEM customers and suppliers.
• Coordinate technical activities related to product design, development, validation, and industrialization.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to enhance technical and leadership capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards, customer requirements, and internal development processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams involved in vehicle development;

Your skills that will help us to get ahead:

• Bachelor's or Master'sdegree in MechanicalEngineering, AutomotiveEngineering, IndustrialEngineering, or arelated discipline;
• Minimumof 3 yearsof experience inautomotive or commercialvehicle engineering;
• Proven experience leadingengineering teams andmanaging technical projects;
• Solid experience inthe development ofExteriors & Trim componentsand systems forautomotive or commercialvehicles;
• Strong understanding of vehicle architecture, systems integration,and product developmentprocesses;
• Knowledge of projectmanagement methodologiesand engineering governance;
• Familiarity with CADand PLM environments;
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational,and problem-solvingskills;
• Fluent Italian andEnglish, both writtenand spoken. Germanknowledge is consideredan advantage.

Total compensation:

• Contract type:Permanent contract
• Gross annual salary (RAL):€37.000 – €45.000(determined on the basis of objective, neutral, and verifiable criteria)
• Smart working:individual remote working agreements
• Working hours:Full-time (40 hours per week) with flexibility
