Metlen Energy & Metals is seeking a Project Financial Controller in Milan, Italy. You will oversee financial management for key projects, act as the finance representative on project teams, monitor budgets and cash flow, and provide insightful financial reporting.

The candidate will have a university degree in Finance or Accounting, 3+ years of experience in financial management (preferably in EPC/construction), strong IFRS know-how, and excellent English communication.

• 3+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in construction/EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting and accounting for long-term projects.

Mansioni

• Act as the finance representative on project teams, collaborating with Project Managers.
• Monitor budgets, track financial performance, and provide variance analysis.
• Manage project cash flow, forecast accurately, and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Prepare and submit financial reports, dashboards, and progress updates.
• Support the Country Finance Manager with reporting and financial insights.

We are currently looking for a Project Financial Controller to join our finance team in Milan, Italy. By joining this role, you will oversee the financial management of key projects.

Your role will encompass:

• Acting as the finance representative on project teams, working closely with Project Managers.
• Monitoring project budgets, tracking financial performance, and providing variance analysis.
• Managing project cash flow, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely vendor payments.
• Preparing and submitting financial reports, dashboards, and progress updates.
• Supporting the Country Finance Manager with reporting and financial insights.

What you bring to the role:

• University degree in Finance or Accounting (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 3+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in construction/EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting and accounting for long-term projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office (SAP knowledge is an asset).
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
