METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our EPC energy projects team in Milan. The role focuses on end-to-end procurement for large renewable energy projects, supplier engagement, contract execution, and logistics coordination to ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery.

You will collaborate with Project Directors, Project Managers, Engineering, Construction, Finance, and Quality teams, driving procurement performance, risk management, and governance

Competenze

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • 4-6 years of procurement, logistics, or supply chain experience within EPC, construction, industrial, infrastructure, or energy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, logistics coordination, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Italian and English.

Mansioni

  • Managing procurement activities for EPC renewable energy projects, ensuring alignment with project priorities, budgets, and construction schedules.
  • Leading supplier engagement activities, including RFQs, quotation analysis, commercial evaluations, and contract execution.
  • Monitoring supplier performance, delivery commitments, and compliance with project quality and commercial requirements.
  • Acting as the main procurement partner for Project Directors and Project Managers, providing visibility on procurement status, risks, and mitigation actions.
  • Coordinating procurement activities with internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Construction, Finance, Quality, Legal, and the central Procurement function.
  • Overseeing logistics and material deliveries to project sites, ensuring efficient and timely material flow throughout project execution.
  • Supporting EPC tendering activities through supplier sourcing, commercial input, and market intelligence.
  • Maintaining procurement documentation, contract records, and reporting in line with internal procedures and project governance standards.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, mitigate procurement risks, and optimize project outcomes.

We are seeking a motivated Senior Procurement Specialist to join our EPC business, based in Milan. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the successful delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects by managing procurement and logistics activities throughout the project lifecycle.

As Senior Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely sourcing of materials and services, supplier performance management, contract compliance, and efficient coordination of logistics activities. Working closely with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Finance, and external partners, you will help ensure that project requirements are met safely, efficiently, and within schedule.

Your role will encompass:
