Headquartered in Abano Terme (PD), Fidia extends its global reach through local partners and distributors in 120+ countries worldwide, as well as with wholly owned subsidiaries. **Job Description**With the aim of strengthening our Corporate Industrial & Process Engineering Team, we are recruiting a **Process Engineering Expert** Your role will involve overseeing the development and implementation of plant investment projects, ensuring they are properly designed, technically executed in compliance with GMP and HSE regulations, completed on time and within budget. **Main responsibilities:*** Collaborate on projects for new plant installations and improvements to existing production plants, both in feasibility and in basic or detail phase, also in collaboration with external engineering companies.* Set up Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), plant layouts with internal or external technical designers, equipment specifications and functional specifications of the control systems.* Identify suppliers, issue requests for offers, technically evaluate offers, draft cost estimates, and prepare investment authorization requests.* Collaborate with PMO to manage the assigned investment budget and monitor project timelines and costs or take full responsibility for these aspects, depending on project size and complexity.* Develop the assigned investment projects, coordinating construction, supervising contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental protection criteria.* Coordinate testing and commissioning activities of new implementations, with Production and Maintenance.* Collaborate with Metrology & Validations, Production, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance on the qualification of new plants.* Transfer knowledge of plant modifications to Production and Maintenance personnel.* Collect and verify as-built documentation and applicable declarations of conformity for plant modifications, submit them to the Technical Office and relevant functions for archiving, and complete the handover form.* Participate in Industrial & Process Engineering coordination meetings and update tools used to monitor CapEx activities. **Requirements:*** Degree in Chemical Engineering.* At least 6 months of experience in a similar role within the chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors, including plant construction or consultancy for these industries.* Knowledge of GMP, experience in the end-to-end management of an investment project—from budgeting through to construction, commissioning, and handover— and basic project management skills would be an advantage.* Good knowledge of Office Suite (particularly Excel).* Knowledge of an ERP software (for example SAP) or of a project management tool (for example WinProject) would be an advantage.* Good knowledge of written and spoken English.* Ability to take the initiative, adaptability and good planning and organizational skills. **Our offer:*** Permanent contract.* Salary between 30.400 – 38.000 €.* Collective Bonus and company Welfare. **Fidia benefits:** In Fidia you will have unlimited access to training and coaching programs aligned with market best practices and opportunities for professional development through participation in internal job posting processes, pension fund with company integration and health fund, merit review and referral programs, company canteen, staff discounts and access to the flu vaccination campaign. *Fidia Farmaceutici promotes parity and inclusion in all its actions.
