Headquartered in Abano Terme (PD), Fidia extends its global reach through local partners and distributors in 120+ countries worldwide, as well as with wholly owned subsidiaries. **Job Description**With the aim of strengthening our Preclinical Development department, we are recruiting a **Preclinical Development Expert and Project Leader Eye Care (temporary contract)** In this role, you’ll support activities related to maintaining regulatory compliance for already marketed medical devices in Eye Care, help manage projects related to the development of new medical devices for the Eye Care area, and support the functional manager to perform preclinical studies. **Main responsibilities:*** Support the coordination of the project team, ensuring effective communication between members.* Follow the design process to ensure it is conducted and documented in accordance with Fidia SOPs and applicable regulations and standards.* Report the progress of design activities and any deviation from the approved plan to the functional manager.* Support the functions responsible for drafting investigator brochures required for the initiation and maintenance of clinical studies.* Support the resolution of technical complaints and change controls when the product design is involved or impacted.* Analyze any gaps related to the medical device, pointing out the need to perform preclinical studies to meet current regulations.* Help oversee preclinical activities and manage subcontracted research organizations. **Requirements:*** Master’s degree in scientific discipline, such as Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies or Pharmacy.* A PhD or previous experience in the management of interfunctional projects would be considered an advantage, as would six months of work experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech company.* Familiarity with using search engines for academic research (e.g. PubMed).* Proficiency in the use of the Office suite.* Good knowledge of written and spoken English.* Attention to detail, ability to work in a team, and good planning and organizational skills. **Our offer:*** Temporary maternity-replacement contract.* Salary between 27.600 – 34.600 €.* Collective Bonus and company Welfare. **Fidia benefits:** In Fidia you will have unlimited access to training and coaching programs aligned with market best practices and opportunities for professional development through participation in internal job posting processes, pension fund with company integration and health fund, merit review and referral programs, company canteen, staff discounts and access to the flu vaccination campaign. *Fidia Farmaceutici promotes parity and inclusion in all its actions.
