Schneider Electric's Process Automation team is seeking a Service Engineer to deliver technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for our automation systems at customer sites, primarily focused on DCS and Safety solutions.

You will install, commission, test, and maintain automation systems, develop logics and HMI screens, and provide customer training. Willingness to travel up to 75% to sites is required, with strong teamwork and problem-solving across complex projects.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Automation/Computer Science/Electrical field or equivalent experience.
3-4 years of experience in the field.
Knowledge of DCS/PLC/SCADA and industrial communication protocols; Foxboro/Triconex/Modicon a plus.
Windows administration and Ethernet networks knowledge.
Italian preferred for customers; English fluency required for non-Italian speakers.

Mansioni

Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot process automation systems.
Conduct system testing and participate in system integration activities.
Develop logics and HMI screens for brownfield projects and system setups in staging areas.
Provide technical support and diagnose system issues for customers.
On-duty availability weekly for department scheduling.
Deliver training to customers on operation and maintenance of automation systems.
