Schneider Electric Italy seeks a Field Technical Specialist to ensure successful project execution and professional solution implementation. You will be the on-site technical contact, coordinating field activities with customers, subcontractors and internal teams.

The role requires frequent travel, strong electrical engineering expertise, and the ability to translate client needs into practical actions while upholding safety and quality standards.

Competenze

• Technical High School Diploma combined with relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in electrical systems, power distribution, industrial installations, or related engineering environments.
• Experience managing on-site activities, commissioning, start-up, or field engineering projects.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical systems, engineering documentation, and industry standards.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a dynamic site environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and customer-facing abilities.
• Basic knowledge of Project Management principles and methodologies.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are considered a plus.
• Availability and willingness to travel frequently.
• Proactive attitude, flexibility, autonomy, and results-oriented mindset.

Mansioni

• Support the tendering and proposal preparation process, including technical assessments and site surveys.
• Develop and review technical solutions, specifications, and project documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards.
• Supervise and coordinate installation, commissioning, testing, and start-up activities at customer sites.
• Manage on-site activities by working closely with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Provide hands-on technical support during commissioning and troubleshooting activities, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
• Monitor project execution in the field, ensuring adherence to schedule, quality, safety, and performance targets.
• Act as the primary technical interface with customers during site execution, translating customer needs into practical actions and solutions.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure alignment between on-site activities and overall project objectives.
• Report project progress, identify risks and mitigation actions, and support effective project communication.
• Monitor site-related costs and support budget control activities throughout project execution.
• Travel frequently across national locations to support project implementation and customer operations.
