Ramboll, a global engineering consultancy, is seeking an Associate/Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design for cutting-edge Data Centre projects. You will guide technical delivery, coordinate with the electrical team, and engage with clients to ensure high-quality results.

You will work within the Data Centre Facilities team in the Buildings sector, applying CFD, building physics, and sustainable design principles to deliver resilient cooling, ventilation, and automation systems.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Engineer with proven track record in mechanical design for data centres or mission-critical systems.
• Experience delivering mechanical systems: cooling, ventilation, automation & control, and related services.
• Accredited honours degree (CIBSE / IET / IMechE) or equivalent with commitment to ongoing education.
• Working towards IEng or CEng status and strong communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead the mechanical design delivery on Data Centre projects and supervise engineers across disciplines.
• Coordinate with electrical counterparts and manage client-facing activities.
• Produce detailed designs and supervise colleagues to meet project needs.
• Drive project delivery timelines with minimal supervision and allocate resources.
