Alpitronic in Bolzano, Italy is seeking a senior battery integration specialist to design and implement the company’s strategy for battery technology selection and integration into energy storage systems.

You will collaborate with suppliers, define guidelines for new battery products, support procurement, and contribute to in-house testing facilities, safety procedures, and modeling tools. Fluency in English is required, with a Master’s in engineering or related field.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in engineering or similar field.
• Several years in Energy Storage.
• Experience in developing/testing/producing batteries for stationary or automotive use.
• Strong knowledge of electrochemistry and Li-ion tech.
• Familiarity with battery modeling for stationary applications.
• Deep understanding of Li-ion safety protocols.
• Proficiency with battery testing instrumentation.
• Ability to interact with executive management.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement battery technology strategy and integration.
• Define guidelines for new battery product integration.
• Ensure documentation and tools for battery integration are developed.
• Liaise with battery suppliers and ensure documentation is compliant with standards.
• Scout and establish partnerships with new battery suppliers.
• Support procurement in drafting supply contracts and warranties.
• Support testing facilities and aging modeling tools.
