Hyatt Regency Rome Central is seeking a PR Specialist to join the Communication & Marketing Department. The role involves implementing a communication strategy to position the hotel in the top hospitality sector and maximize WW media visibility.

Located near Rome Termini, the 238-room, 5-star hotel offers premium services, a rooftop experience, SPA, and multiple F&B outlets. The candidate will work on pre-opening activities and press material development.

Competenze

• University degree in Marketing/ Communications/Business Administration or similar fields.
• 3-5 year experience in similar roles within the 5 star hospitality industry.
• Project management skills and reporting techniques.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Knowledge of Print & Online Media and Journalists.
• Knowledge of the local PR scene.
• Communication techniques, tools and channels.

Mansioni

• Support the creation and management of the communications and PR plan calendar.
• Maximize editorial coverage and nourish external relations network.
• Organize and support initiatives and events at central and local level, aligning with central strategies.
• Handle global press relations (press trips, events) and travel logistics.

We are looking for a PR Specialist to join our Communication & Marketing Dept.

He / She will play a key role in implementing an effective communication strategy to ensure the positioning of Hyatt Regency Rome Central in the top sector of the hospitality market and maximize its visibility on the WW media.

Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy’s most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.

The hotel is also featuring a SPA, 5 food & beverages outlets and more than 1000 sqm events venues.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Support the creation and the management of the communications and PR plan calendar;
• Maximize editorial coverage from a qualitative and quantitative point of view & nourish the external relations network;
• Organize and support initiatives and events at central and local level, ensuring alignment with central strategies and guidelines;
• Handle global press relations (request of stays, press trips, events);
• Contribute to organizing media visits and group press trips to the hotel properties including travel logistics and itineraries;
• Manage editorial photo/video shootings for official photo galleries;
• Monitor and manage global press coverage and organize coverage data and results in regular reports;
• Establish a PR archive/library of information: ensure maintaining a record and archive of the hotel’s history, press visits, press releases, collateral, photography etc.

In occasion of new hotel’s openings

• Contribute to create an ‘New Opening’ communication strategy and plan of activities
• Contribute to producing and overseeing all press material sustaining new hotel openings and launches
• Manage editorial photo-shoots during hotels opening and press events

Skills and requirements

• University Degree in Marketing/ Communication/Business Administration or similar fields
• 3-5 year experience in similar roles within the 5 star hospitality industry

Compensation

• CCNL: Italian National Collective Labour Agreement for the Tourism Industry (Federalberghi / Confcommercio)
• Gross Annual Salary (RAL): €27,000–€29,000, depending on experience and skills.
• Variable compensation: Participation in the hotel's 5% Service Charge scheme, in accordance with the applicable company agreements.
