Thompson Rome is seeking a dynamic Dining Room / Room Service Attendant to join our pre-opening Food & Beverage team. Reporting to the Maitre, you will deliver outstanding service and build rapport with guests while upholding Hyatt standards.

You should have at least 2 years of hospitality experience, be fluent in Italian and English, and knowledge of the Micros system. This is a pre-opening role in one of Rome's iconic luxury hotels, offering opportunities to grow with us in a multicultural

Mansioni

• Take orders of food and beverages and bring to the guests' room.
• Operate according to established sequence and procedures.
• Answer guest inquiries and make recommendations regarding food, beverage, and service.
• Clear and reset trays at the conclusion of each course.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation and service.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items and upsell where appropriate.
• Provide a welcoming and professional service to guests.

We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic Dining Room / Room service attendant to join our Food & Beverage Thompson Rome Pre-opening Team!

Reporting to the Maitre, the ideal candidate will maintain positive guest and colleague interactions, building strong working relationships while ensuring excellent customer service. With a natural flair for lifestyle hospitality and strong communication skills, the Dining Room / Room service attendant works closely with outlet's colleagues in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of our Guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Take orders of food and beverages and bring to the guests' room
• Operate according to established sequence and procedures.
• Answer guest inquiries, and make recommendations regarding food, beverage, and service
• Clear and reset trays at the conclusion of each course
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation, and service throughout operations
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of all food and beverage items on the menu, and the ability to recommend combinations and upsell alternatives when required
• Provide a welcoming and professional service to guests
• Ensure compliance with service and hygiene standards at all times
• Promote a guest-focused and service-driven culture within the outlet

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related hospitality environment
• High standards of personal presentation and grooming
• Preferably, know how to use the Micros system
• Strong knowledge of menu items and beverage offerings
• Ability to work effectively in Team, maintaining composure and objectivity also during pick times
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of the city of Rome and history
• Native or Fluent in Italian and English. Any additional language is a plus
• Flexible and supportive team player with a positive attitude
